ADKOM organized this event with the support of the International Association of Water Supply Companies from the Danube River Basin (IAWD), as support of the PUCs for water supply in capacity building, in order to be able to respond to their legal obligations in the field of water safety and crisis management, as well as to support the dialogue and cooperation of the institutions at the local and central level.

Ms. Lea Pavlovic, Training Manager at the ADKOM Training Center, pointed out in her presentation that ADKOM is actively working on capacity building and that last year one of the key programs developed by IAWD and D-LeaP had been implemented, i.e. the program "Commercial Efficiency and Business Planning ".

This year, ADKOM will soon begin with the implementation of the second program as well, related to the program "Water Safety and Crisis Management: Basis of Operational Continuity of Disaster Risk Management". Mr. Jane Vrteski, ADKOM consultant, briefly informed the participants about the Danube Learning Partnership (D-LeaP). The representative of the Technical Partner of the Danube Learning Partnership and developer of the training program " Water Safety and Crisis Management: Basis of Operational Continuity of Disaster Risk Management", Mr. Christian Plohberger, provided the final presentation. During his address, he gave a brief introduction of the program, as well as stressed the importance of its implementation.

Ms. Lolita Stojanovska, Executive Director of ADKOM, stated that the program for PUCs will be implemented in Macedonian language and is designed on the principles of learning through practice. It involves a combination of workshops for face-to-face trainings, which provide tools and techniques to address the challenges faced; to monitor how they are applied in practice, followed by on the job training, where the participating enterprises apply the tools and techniques in their environment and develop specific products (diagnostics, action plans, tariff plans, etc.).
