Leakage Emissions Initiative: Establishing a Standard Carbon Balance for Drinking Water Utilities
The International Water Association shares the latest publication of the IWA Water Loss Specialist Group on the Leakage Emissions Initiative (LEI).
The intent of the LEI is to incentivise utilities to aggressively identify and reduce leakage and generating carboncredits which can then be sold to organizations seeking to achieve carbon neutrality.
