In which Danube region countries does the company operate? 

Currently just in Romania but we have had projects previously in other countries such as Austria and Serbia and we plan on having more in the region.

NAIAD is also active in other regions such as the Middle East and CIS.

NAIAD Water Solutions provides a complete range of services related to water and wastewater treatment and water recycling.

Our services catalog ranges from data collection and water analysis to design, equipment procurement, supply, project management/ supervision, execution, installation, commissioning and start-up and after sales services such as operation & maintenance. We can supply these services to industrial clients as well as municipalities.

• Our continuous drive to include cutting edge technology in the solutions we provide for our clients: The custom-made solutions that NAIAD provides are based on technologies developed in the R&D department in Switzerland and proven throughout multiple projects as being efficient and reliable.
• Our dedication to delivering solutions that take the pressure off the environment: The technologies NAIAD offers, such as Water Recycling Plants and Energy Efficient Sludge Treatment with Green Energy production, have the potential to turn waste into resource.
• We continuously strive to evolve: In 2024 NAIAD has managed to take an important step forward by securing a new contract for the operation of not only the Wastewater Treatment Plant but also the Networks, Firefighting System, Cooling Towers and Air and Gas Installation (complete water cycle), within one of Romania’s biggest refineries. With this step, the company has added considerably to its services catalogue.

Why should young people work in the water sector?

We, at NAIAD, consider that it is vital that young people work in the water sector. Regardless the company type, be it public or private, getting young people on board will ensure the transfer of experience, develop experts and secure the future of the industry.

In this sense, responsible action must be taken by the companies in the water sector, to promote the field, to show the advantages of working in the field and to ensure proper conditions for growth and prosperity, there for attracting young people to the water sector.

Why did you become an IAWD member?

We are proud to be IAWD member, and we believe that NAIAD can make a real contribution to this association, given its extensive experience with water technologies, market insight and overall experience in the field.

We have taken this step towards membership status as we look forward to having open, constructive discussions with other experts within the association, developing strong connections and building a sustainable future with access to clean water for all.
