With a focus on progress in the Nordic region, this webinar series has highlighted the principles for a climate-neutral water sector, demonstrating some of the Danish national monitoring programmes for nitrous oxide and methane emissions and concrete actions by utilities. 

Following an initial webinar on collaborative progress in the Nordic water sector, and two detailed webinars on methane and nitrous oxide, the final webinar of the series will shift from process emissions to planetary boundaries. The webinar will also explore linkages in LCA beyond climate, to consider all impacts on our biosphere, introducing the concept of planetary boundaries which underlines our role as stewards of catchments and all within – including both water and nutrient cycles.
