This webinar is organised by the IWA “Design, Operation and Maintenance of Drinking Water Treatment Plants” Specialist Group. It aims to illustrate and discuss the fundamentals and new trends of the advanced water and wastewater treatment processes.

Water and wastewater treatment processes aim for removing contaminants from water sources and convert it into effluent qualified for desired end-use. The end-uses include drinking, industrial water supply, irrigation, river flow maintenance, water recreation, and returning to the water cycle, and so on.

Speakers will present new insights, challenges and emerging technologies that require attention in future advanced water treatment processes.
