This webinar will address the importance of developing Water Safety and Crisis Management plans by water utilities as important tools to properly respond to disasters and risks, while maintaining safe delivery of the critical water supply and sanitation services, especially relevant to the COVID-19 crisis.

This webinar comes as a pressing need identified by the water utilities as a result of the situation created by Covid-19 pandemic in both countries, and it is jointly organised and hosted by the Water Supply and Sewerage Association of Albania (SHUKALB) together with the Water and Wastewater Works Association of Kosovo (SHUKOS).

The webinar is organised with support from the International Association of Water Supply Companies in the Danube River Catchment Area (IAWD) as well as Energie AG, in the framework of the Danube Learning Partnership (D-LeaP).

The webinar will be organized in the format of presentations combined with statements from representatives of water regulatory agencies in Albania and Kosovo as well as other central government institutions.

The participants will be able to interact through comments and questions. Simultaneous translation in English and Albanian language will be provided.
