The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is the leading global environmental authority that promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment.

This position is located at the IPBES Secretariat at the Bonn duty station in Germany. Under the supervision of the IPBES Executive Secretary, the Programme Management Officer – Scientific Affairs will be responsible for providing technical support for the production by experts of the IPBES Thematic Assessment of the interlinkages among Biodiversity, Water, Food and Health (Nexus Assessment).
