From European Environment Agency EEA’s flagship SoE report highlights worsening pressures on Europe’s water resources, with water stress affecting roughly one-third of population/territory and climate risks intensifying. Though not a law, the evidence base will inform forthcoming implementing acts, river basin plans, affordability debates and energy-neutrality trajectories for wastewater treatment.
