The DEX Summer School 2025 primarily aims to support knowledge around the newly ratified EU-Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive (UWWTD )from November 5, 2024. This program equips participants with the advanced knowledge and practical skills needed to comply with this directive, promoting effective water quality management across Europe.

All the lecturers are real experts in their field of expertise and will teach without remuneration, the one week program is also supported by the company VTA, where the event will take place.

The goal is to provide a comprehensive english education for (young) water professionals with special interest in wastewater management. The second goal is to create an international network of young water professionals together with the teachers who have experience in science as well as in practice in design, technology, operation and economics of wastewater treatment plants with international reputation.
