At long last, we meet again: The 2022 Danube Water Forum is scheduled to take place as a live event in Tirana on 28 and 29 June. Save the date - and note that the buildup is already underway.
IAWD and World Bank in the frame of the Danube Water Program in cooperation with SHUKALB have just announced the first live meeting of our community in more than two years: The 2022 Danube Water Forum will be held in Tirana, Albania, back-to-back with the “Conference on Benchmarking and Asset Management Nexus – Key tools for Regulators and Decision Making” on 30 June.
The date is 28-29 June, giving the attendees a chance to celebrate Danube Day 2022. The theme of this year's Forum will be “Energizing the Water Sector in the Danube region”, and the buildup is already underway, having started recently with the DWP KnowNow webinar on „The Rising Cost of Inaction: How the Energy Crisis Impacts the Water Service Sector in the Danube Region”, and proceeding with the upcoming KnowNow webinar "From Waste to Value: How the Wastewater Treatment Sector Can Contribute to Mitigating the Energy Crisis in the Danube Region", a highly recommended thematic warmup for an exciting Danube Water Forum.
