The risk of flooding increases with climate change and more of those are to be expected in the future. According to the recent management and scientific evidence bringing river to its natural path of flooding, is the best possible solution to tackle multiple water, drought, biodiversity and land management issues. 

This course, consisting of six modules, is a great tool for young to mid-level professionals, from water utilities or environmental management projects, students or anyone interested to gain or deepen their knowledge on the Danube river floodplain management.

The course will tentatively start on 30 September and the participation is free of charge.
