The United Nations University (UNU) is an international community of scholars engaged in policy-oriented research, capacity development and dissemination of knowledge. As part of a larger network the particular objective of United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS') research is to improve contingency planning for failures or impairments of water supply and sanitation in health care facilities by comprehensively addressing organisational issues.
The successful candidate will be entrusted with following tasks: Take a leading role in the analysis of emergency preparedness of German hospitals to outages of water supply, co-supervise student assistants supporting literature reviews, interview transcriptions and further project work, support scaling of project results, etc.
