Technical-Economic Advisory Committee (WBB)
This Advisory Committee established in 2001 supports member companies in the know-how
exchange between water suppliers. This body helps water companies to improve their technical
and organisational structure on the strength of their own technical competence.
Moreover, IAWD member companies are to be provided with specific information to enable them
to raise funds through international organisations (e.g. EU, UNO).
As a platform for information exchange and an organiser of international expert meetings,
IAWD does not compete with consulting enterprises and their activities.
Every year, together with one IAWD member company, WBB organises a seminar for information
exchange, which also offers practical insights through visits to local water supply installations.
These events are primarily to take place at the premises of water companies in Central and Eastern
European countries.
